BlackMaria.DXF is a vector graphics editor that I developed to support wood-based laser fabrication for Black Maria (2026). Source images for Black Maria (2026) were generated with Gemini 3 Pro Image & GPT Image 2.0. This AI-image generation/modification process across models, introduced visual inconsistencies that made conversion from .PNG into .DXF/.SVG unreliable.

Several of these visual problems including multi-subject consistency and the preservation of fine-grained details, have also been documented in recent research(Jiang et al., 2025; Wang et al., 2026; Ouyang et al., 2026). Black Maria (2026) demonstrates how these limitations can complicate vector conversion and, in turn, determine the success of laser production.

BlackMaria.DXF is optimized for, and has been evaluated on, the AI-generated PNG source files developed for Black Maria (2026).
